This month's headline numbers
The five metrics that move the business, with change versus last month. Non-branded clicks are the metric to watch: they represent new demand we created, not people already searching your name.
Organic Search · Search Console
Traffic from Google search results
Google increasingly answers questions on the results page itself, so impressions and clicks can move independently. Non-branded clicks still rose, which is the win. The site now holds 1,800 ranking keywords — 47 of them in Google’s top three — and a representative slice is below.

Map-Pack Coverage
Geographic ranking heatmaps
Each grid scans your rank at 49 points around the store — green is strong (top 3), red is weak. These are the keywords currently tracked in the heatmap grid for each store; expanding that set is on the queue below. Bed-Stuy’s red on “cannabis store” and “dispensary near me” is exactly what the playbook that follows is built to fix.

How we lift Bed-Stuy into the map pack
Bed-Stuy sits at position 17–18 for “dispensary near me” and “cannabis store,” just outside the three-business map pack. Map-pack rank comes down to three things: relevance (how well the profile matches the search), proximity (how close the searcher is), and prominence (how established the business looks to Google). The profile is active with one to two posts a week, but Google Posts barely move map rank — they are a freshness signal, not a ranking lever. The real gains are below, and the biggest lines up with the weakest number in this report: Authority at 17/100 is the prominence gap.
The short version: you can’t out-post a prominence gap. Reviews, photos, and citations move map rank — posting does not. Redirecting that effort is the whole play.
1Make reviews a weekly system. For a competitive, location-based search like “dispensary near me,” how fresh and steady the reviews are matters as much as the total count. Build a post-purchase ask: a budtender prompt at checkout, a QR code on the receipt or bag, and an SMS or email follow-up shortly after (the SMS channel is already live). A few new reviews every week beats an occasional burst. Two guardrails — don’t filter for only-happy reviews before asking (against Google’s policy), and don’t trade discounts for them. Reviews that mention the neighborhood and what was bought also feed relevance for those exact terms.
2Post photos every week. Fresh images are a real engagement and prominence signal, and almost no competitor keeps it up. Rotate storefront and exterior shots (which also help Google confirm the location), interior, product close-ups by category, and team. Upload weekly from the store, and encourage customers to add their own.
3Close the prominence gap with citations — the Authority-17 fix. This is the highest-value structural work. For a dispensary that means Weedmaps and Leafly fully built out with consistent name, address, and phone, correct categories, and a synced menu, then the standard set — Yelp, Apple Maps, Bing Places — plus Brooklyn and neighborhood directories and a handful of local links. Thin prominence is why the map grid drops off so quickly as you move away from the store; citations widen that radius.
4Finish the profile itself. Confirm the primary category is Cannabis store and add every truthful secondary, write a keyword- and neighborhood-rich description, fully populate products with categories and descriptions, fill in every attribute, and seed the Q&A with common buyer questions answered in natural language. It’s free, and most profiles leave half of it blank.
Keep the weekly posts — just make each one product- or neighborhood-specific so it reinforces relevance — but expect reviews, photos, and citations to be what actually moves the ranking.

Methodology & Glossary
How to read this report
Every number carries a confidence label. Counted means measured directly from Google. Early signal means a real but volatile trend. Best estimate means a modeled figure using conservative assumptions. GA4 undercounts real traffic because of consent banners, so treat session totals as a floor. AI-visibility results shift week to week as the models change their answers.
